Cottage Review:

we really liked this cottage,it had bags of character ,was in a fab location with a huge back garden with views over cornfields.living room furniture is basic, but we found the bedding lovely.it is a second home, but for a cheap holiday, good value.

Cottage Review:

Dirty & damp. Old, dated food left in cupboards & fridge. Stale-smelling bedding. Bathroom & kitchen had to be cleaned by us before use. Bedding, cutlery & crockery had to be washed before use. Sleeps 4 yet only seating for 3 in living room. Dirty upholstery in dining & living rooms. Broken garden furniture. Summer house not fit to sleep in as advertised unless you're used to camping. Inadequate fire safety. 1 of the 'double' bedrooms fits a double bed and nothing else, again not advertised.

Cottage Review:

The most important thing to note is there is NO central heating and there wasnt enough coal left so we ended up having to buy our own! Secondly the place it dirty we too cleaned it and left it cleaner than when we arrived! Furniture was filthy, old & very uncomfortable. Basically it is a rich kids country getaway NOT a bonafide holiday cottage! BEWARE - its cheap for a reason!
