The property is a home away from home, Fay has truly thought of everything, and the view from the apartment is just amazing.

The apartment is located close to the local train station, coastal path and beach.

There are many places to see and visit, something for everyone!

We have been a few times and we just love coming back.

Theres a range of places to eat and drink within walking distance or it’s a stop on the train into st ives (or 20 mins down the coastal path - which if your lucky enough you may see the seals, dolphins or even the whale on your walk).

I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s incredible.

Sea Spray was a lovely, clean, comfortably equipped and well presented apartment and perfectly located base for our relaxed break by sea. We enjoyed the thoughtful welcome pack, sitting in the garden, and taking in the sea view from inside and outside the apartment. Carbis Bay and the coastal walks either side of it, were stunning. For myself, my husband, and our two boys this break was all about the beautiful beach, body boarding and kayaking and the stunning coastline and we got to enjoy it all thoroughly by staying at Seaspray. The weather was hit and miss but that didn't detract from a wonderful stay there.

Home from home. This year will be our 3rd visit. The apartment is spotless, has a homely feel whilst at the same time a touch of luxury.its amazing sat on the patio having breakfast looking out to sea. We loved being so close to the amazing Carbis Bay beach, although the walk back up the hill is very challenging as its very steep. We loved being able to walk into St Ives. The Minnack Theatre, St Michael's Mount and Godrevy Point to see the seals all well worth a visit. The Firehouse bar and grill and La Casita really nice places to eat. I would highly recommend this apartment if you are planning on visiting the area and the hosts keep in touch well and are friendly. We can't wait to return this year.

Excellent accommodation and parking a necessary bonus. Everything you need is provided in a spotless light and roomy apartment. Well placed for a walk down to the beautiful beach at Carbis Bay and the train to St Ives without the hassle of taking the car. Would recommend the apartment for anyone as easy access throughout the building, but it is set in an area with steep slopes for those with mobility issues.

The apartment was fully equipped with high quality items in every room and exceptionally clean. This is our first time staying in Sea Spray as we have stayed twice in Sea Shells, its sister apartment. We loved Sea Spray the outside area is located higher up in the block so the views are even more stunning. We can't fault this apartment and if you want a high quality, beautifully furnished apartment located in a prime location in Carbis Bay then we would highly recommend it. The owners have always been so lovely and even shared who the bedroom pillow supplier was because we always have wonderful night sleeps on those pillows! We love the Carbis Bay area of Cornwall as you can see so much, this time we went to Falmouth and took in the views at Pendennis Castle, we went on a trip on the Nemo Glass Bottom boat out of St Ives (highly recommend lovely crew!), visited the local Badger Inn at Lelant, their roast dinner is to die for.. and we even pushed the boat out and went to dine in the Beach Restaurant in Carbis Bay, pricey but the views are spectacular. The train station from Carbis Bay to St Ives is a 5 minute walk down the hill and a 3 minute ride so easy... We found an absolute gem a few years ago in these apartments and we have gone back time and time again, they are simply the best. Please don't hesitate to book you will not regret it!

The apartment is beautiful, very well equipped and exceptionally clean, in a lovely location. Good quality furnishings, very comfortable bed and the en suite shower was great. A lovely welcome pack included champers and cream teas, much appreciated. The apartment is close to restuarants. We had a fab meal at the Beach club, which has lovely views. The deli on the beach does a great coffee. A few minutes drive away are supermarkets. The beach is a few minutes walk away and St Ives is walkable along the coastal path. We really enjoyed our walks at Upton Towans beach which is beautiful, popular with surfers.

We have been visiting Carbis for the last 10 years and have now found an apartment that we will be returning to each year. Definitely 5 star.

The apartment is stunning. It was fully equipped with everything you may need. It had a main bathroom and an ensuite to the master bedroom (with the best shower!). Spacious bedrooms and a lovely lounge/ kitchen and dining area. It was a little chilly to sit out on the patio but in the warm weather this would be a great place to sit and read or enjoy a glass of wine. The views from the living room are incredible. On a sunny morning you can clearly see the lighthouse and harbour of St Ives. The apartment is close to a local shop, chemist and a few restaurants / bars. It is also very close to the train station where a train can take you to St Ives in just 3 minutes, although we prefer the coastal path walk into St. Ives (you may get to see the seals and dolphins if you are lucky enough). We absolutely loved staying here and cannot wait to to back again.

Top notch, spacious, beautifully appointed modern apartment in a fabulous location. We are very fussy about where stay, but when we walked in our reaction was - wow. Spotlessly clean, a great welcome pack (including a bottle of champers that went down brilliantly with the fish & chips we had during the week), very comfortable good quality furnishings and beds, plenty of towels, very well equipped kitchen, very thorough and thoughtful information pack plus great instruction pack on how things work, with fantastic view across to St Ives. All in all, a 5 star rating fully deserved, without question.

We made a lot of use of the rail line into St Ives, with the station only 5 mins walk away - a fantastic bonus to have this so close. Try and do the coast walk to St Ives at least once. It’s a bit steep in places to start (inc bridge to cross the railway line), but generally an easy stroll and well worth the effort. An important point to note though - if you want to eat out in St Ives at peak times then heed the warnings to book early. All the top places were booked out and we struggled some nights to find somewhere nice - and not even high season! Strong recommendations - La Casita, By The Sea Seafood & Grill, Talay Thai and Caffé Pasta & Pizzeria.

Fay and family have done a great job in offering a place of such high standard. As someone else said, a home from home, but with a much better view.

Beautiful property, we stayed next door 6 years ago and can't believe it's taken so long to return. Very comfortable, great location and so clean. We enjoyed it so much we've booked again for Sept, probably wouldn't stay anywhere else now in Carbis Bay. Fay and family are so helpful.

We made a last minute booking for this superb property after reading reviews for days on end and honing in on the consistently good feedback from previous holiday makers. We spent three nights in the property before moving to the St Ives Harbour Hotel and Spa for a family wedding. The owner was very flexible about the non-standard length of stay and without being asked, offered us an earlier arrival time...we were driving down from North Shropshire so this was very helpful indeed. Directions were perfect. The property is simply perfect, the description online is very accurate in terms of style, position and facilities but it possibly undersells the quality of those facilities. Absolutely everything was provided, we didn't initially realise there was a stash of every cleaning product we might need... including lots of detergent for the washing machine and dishwasher. Lots of bonus items including large quantities of coffee, tea etc and a bottle of fizz in the fridge!! The beds had quality linen, mattresses and pillows were very comfy and heating (which we did use when the evenings turned chilly) was efficient. We brought our Amazon firestick but didn't need it as the huge TV was already set up. The comments book in the apartment was brilliant, so many accurate recommendations for eateries and tourism generally. Very clean, it was quiet during our stay...there was construction nearby but it didn't intrude...we were exploring the area most of the day after all. We really couldn't find fault with this property and we have very high standards...when we moved to the hotel they gave us a majestic room with an outstanding view but Sea Spray at The Sands was definitely better than the hotel in that it was better equipped, cleaner, quieter and a relaxed home from home. Warmest thanks to the owner - they really have thought of everything and we hope to return next year.

Our stay at the Sea-Spray apartment in Carbis Bay was absolutely perfect.

The apartment was spacious and immaculate.

It was equipped with everything we needed for a home from home stay making packing for a UK holiday much easier. Towels, bed linen, cleaning products and even items that we could use to wrap and contain food fir picnics!

Prior to arrival, communication with the owner was efficient. Fay provided all the information we required to access the property without stress and also gave us lots of information about local restaurants and grocery deliveries.

Carbis Bay is beautiful, the beach is exceptional with golden sands and calm, clear water. Water sports such as paddle boarding and kayaking were popular and equipment can be hired at a point on the beach. Disappointingly for my family waves for body boarding were lacking but there are other beaches around St Ives and the surrounding area that are reported to be better for this type of water activity.

As the weather was so kind to us and because it was quite busy due to lots of visitors to the area we remained quite local and didn't venture further than we could walk or get the local train. The train from Carbis Bay to St Ives is great! It is cheap and there are stunning views on the short route. We used it a couple of times when we didn't fancy walking the coastal path..the area of Carbis Bay is quite hilly!!

We would definitely come back to Sea-Spray!

Perfect home from home accommodation, except this one has a sea view that we only dream of at home. It was spotlessly clean with all the sanitising and cleaning products provided for use during our stay. The apartment is really spacious with all of the appliances and equipment that we could need. The bed was really comfortable and we loved the benefit of having 2 patio areas.

The owner is really considerate of her guests and made us extremely welcome. I would 100% recommend this apartment.

Lovely apartment in Carbis Bay and well positioned for the beach, train to St Ives and coastal walks.

The kitchen is well equipped with high quality kitchenware. The beds are comfortable and the place was very clean on arrival. Great welcome pack!

Good outdoor space for the children at front and back, and sea views too.

Great service and communication from the owner, loads of useful information beforehand and in the apartment about the local area.

Highly recommended!
