We've just returned from a most enjoyable stay in Trelanic, it's clean, spacious, well equipped and with views to die for. It is well located as being at the top of the village there is parking on site, a must in Port Isaac for us and also a couple of minutes walk to well stocked co-op mini mart, although it is a steep uphill slog from the harbour and Port Gaverne where there are some excellent pub/restaurants. The owner was very nice and helpful and as an added bonus the man who looks after the property for him lives a couple of doors away, so if you do have a problem he's right there.

We would recommend

Note: we have re-posted this review with the correct date of 2015 rather than 2014. Obviously the holiday was too relaxing...

Brilliant good size property with stunning views. Very comfortable and really just like home with everything you could need. Local supermarket a real bonus only a couple of minutes walk away, and the village centre a few minutes further on. Would definitely recommend this property. Should also add that cleanliness was excellent, whatever issues the earlier reviewer, Sept 14, had are now certainly not evident.

Fantastic location, wonderful views and easy access on foot to the local shop and Port Isaac. The house was comfortable, well equipped and clean. A very good position either for walkers or those who just want to relax and admire the views.

Location is splendid. Being on the edge of the village means that vehicular access is not a problem and the house has it's own parking spaces. The local Co-op shop is two minutes walk away and the harbour is about another 5 minutes walk. Views over the coast from the house are magnificent.

This cottage is in a nice location. What spoils it is that it's not clean. We had to buy quilts and pillows as those in the cottage were disgusting. You can see it hasn't has a proper clean for a long time. The washing machine is rusty on the outside.

There are several strong reasons to consider Trelanic for a stay in Port Isaac. Uppermost is its superb location, with panoramic views of the bay toward Tintagel. At the end of an unmade cul-de-sac, the house also offers peace and quiet, with a sloping back garden to lounge about in. The accommodation is very comfortable; the storage heaters kept it cosily warm throughout our stay and all of our party slept well on the beds. The kitchen easily satisfied our demands and the provision of utensils, crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. was extensive. The lock-up garage is very handy, particularly for bikes, and inside we found garden chairs and a barbecue. The house has off road parking, a real bonus in Port Isaac.

From the house it is an easy walk to a convenience store with a free cashpoint and both Port Isaac harbour and Port Gaverne are downhill strolls.

Communication with the owner was quick and easy.

Make up of party:  Family, occupying all the bedrooms.
