Second time we come here from France, really an amazing place ! Very calm and quiet, the best sleeping nights ever ! Lovely settings and furniture, fully equipped inside and outside, everything is made to make you feel comfortable and "at home". Stunning views around. We also enjoyed the games room ! Great location for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying peace and quiet. Close to the coast and beaches, lots of things to do and visit around... And many thanks to Di for her warm welcome ! Had a delightful week in this cottage. I managed to while away many a peaceful hour reading a book on the deck overlooking the open field to the side of the house. We picked blackberries on the land too. The two local pubs are a huge tourist attraction and it was a treat to have one of them within two minutes walking distance. Whilst we supped the local cider, the kids frolicked in the stream beside the pub - happy days! The house itself was lovely, with lots of space for two families. As I recall, the bedrooms downstairs were a little damp but it didn't impact too adversely on our stay. Definitely would recommend if you want to stay in a rural place yet close to the shopping centre of Totnes.

One of the first to use the resort and actually it is great value for money given the facilities. It is definitely on the luxury side, beautiful location with many places like Dartinton and Totnes to visit nearby. Also a very quaint ? superstore just on the turn off from the dual carriage way, sells some very random things but Beyond Escapes is well worth it, good value!

You pretty much get what you expect inside this cottage. It's a complex, so you know you are going to be sharing some facilities, it's good value for money so you know that the furnishings will be acceptable but not extravagant. What you don't expect is the incredible setting and the quality of the pool. We took two tweenagers and they were beside themselves. Stunning walking, close to Totnes, great local pub. If you want a base for exploring South Hams and have kids under say 14 and you regard the accommodation as a base rather than the end in itself you won't go wrong here.
