The house was amazing. Upon arrival of collection of keys we were told they had put milk in the fridge, a loaf of bread in the freezer. That there was tea and coffee satchets, as well as a box of shortbread for us and a pack of dog treats! There was also a pack of logs for the fire! What a great start to the holiday! We had sun, rain, wind and snow whilst on holiday, but having the hot tub really makes the house worth it in all weathers. We used the massage place (literally next door) 3 times, so convenient and such a treat! A short walk to the caravan park takes you to the clubhouse, with shop, bar and restaurant (due to covid take away only). There is also a park on site for kids. Just past the park and your straight onto the Moors, an amazing place for walking the dog. Local villages are a shirt drive and great too!

Just back from a break at quarry bank house and I can honestly say it was fabulous. Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable, it felt like a home from home. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. Plenty of parking space and the views from the house are amazing too. The bar at upwood is great too. Looking forward to booking again in the summer!

Renovated old farmhouse with fantastic views, fonderful hot tub and gated area at the back and side for our dog to roam, we thourougly enjoyed our stay with the added bonus of the club house near by which accepted dogs.

looking forward to our next stay.

We stayed at Quarry Bank House and it was disgusting! All of the cutlery and crockery needed washing before we could use it (well as best we could with the dirty sponge they left next to the kitchen sink!) there was paint peeling off of the walls in at least 4 places, mould on the bedroom ceiling, stains on towels, kickboards broken in the bathrooms, blood on the duvet (which we only found because one of the rules was that you have to strip all of the beds yourself), broken hot tub handle hot 3 people as it fell down causing bruising, the beam is hanging out

What a hidden gem we arrived to tea coffee milk and even a treat for the dog the cottage was in immaculate condition and the views was amazing. There was a log burner to keep you warm but we only had to use this once and the hot tup outside is great for looking at the stars at night whilst keeping warm. There was a double bed and 2 singles and 2 bunk beds there is also a dining room to eat as well as a outside table. We ate on the camp site for 2 nights which is just a 5 minute walk away the food was very nice and very very big portions. There is loads of wa
