We have just got back from a fab weekend at Eden House, with 3 generations sharing a house, this had everything we needed and more. It was perfect getting away and spending time with our families. The house was fantastic, excellent value for money, with plenty of space. The picture of the kitchen sealed the deal for me and it did not disappoint, it had EVERYTHING we could possibly need in terms of utensils, pans etc. And the fridge was a hit with the kids and adults alike. The farm was an added bonus! The owners were wonderful and spent time showing us around the farm and let us meet all the animals. We took a short drive upto Conniston and found a lovely spot to take our SUP's out. Next year's trip is already being discussed, we will be back!!

What a lovely stay we had at Eden House for my partners birthday!

Comfy beds, really really clean. Hot tub was really lovely and clean as was the sauna. The ping pong table for a lot of use and the kitchen was equipt with anything we needed.

I would say the bedrooms and living area could do with a little update however we spent the majority of our time in the hot tub which was amazing and hot or in the kitchen.

The only thing I?d say is that the WiFi didn?t work and the tv didn?t get signal on most channels however we didn?t mind as we were being tech free for the weekend.

Lovely location with some great walks near by and cycle routes. Amazing scenery!

Also a lovely pub called the ship was a 5 minute walk away.

Perfect for a huge group, we would definitely come back.

Eden house is tucked away just off the main road. Even though it is so close to Ulverston (closest co-op is a 2 minute drive up the road), it is perfectly secluded. Due to it's location it doesn't have great reception however there is good wifi signal over the entire house. The beach and buddhist monastery are only a short walk away.

The house itself is very well equipped with everything that you would require. The beds are comfortable. Even though we had the entire house between 4 of us, it felt very homely.

There are some animals on the property, some pigs, goats, chickens and ducks. We fed the animals on one of the mornings which was a lovely! It is great to see all the chickens roaming around on the grassland during the day!

Can not say enough good things about the place! To top it off, the people that manage it and the owner are really friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend Eden House. Can't wait to visit again!

We booked the property for a family birthday. The actual property doesn't resemble the pictures. The layout is completely different to what we were expecting and the decor is a little less modern than perhaps advertised. That being said the property is still lovely. It's set in its own grounds. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and ended up being where we all congregated anyway. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The numerous bathrooms and toilets were so handy. The sitting room was especially cosy on a night and we appteciated the little touches that made the property feel more like a home than a rental. The trampoline was a great addition for the kids and the hot tub pleased everybody. The only thing we would suggest would be more lighting on the path between the hot tub and the extension as it did get quite dark on a night. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. It has so much potential!

I do not have one bad thing to say about this place. Our Group 6 adults and 2 children under 4 stayed for a week. And i was very impressed, the bed rooms were nice and comfortable, the living room warm, inviting and spacious. The Kitchen was clean and had everything that you needed. Hub Tub and Sauna were great and in excellent condition. The best part about this place is the location, it feels very isolated with only tow other houses there, but there is a long driveway which is beautiful, and loads of walks to go on, for example the beach is within walking distance and so is a buddist temple.

We are three generations of family and although this house is brilliant for our party (we were here last year), it is a shame about sharing the grounds with Eden Lodge, because the Lodge residents have to access the grounds via pathways either side of the house and it made the house residents feel a bit vulnerable, especially with the little ones. One of the paths comes very close to our hot tub/sauna area and feels a bit invaded. One evening I went to the bins and on return crossed paths with a gentleman, carrying a drink, going to the hut in the middle o

Just had a weekend away with the girls and this house was brilliant there were 12 of us and there was plenty of space. It looks like the house has had a bit of a makeover as most of the rooms were neutral unlike the pics. The house is short of nothing with brilliant bathrooms and a fully kitted out kitchen, everyone commented about how comfy their beds were and there was an abundance of towels and bedding. Also you cant forget to mention the hot tub it was great. All in all fantastic stay and would definitely go back. It looks like they are converting the ho
