| Cottage Review:
This really is a beautiful cottage set in grounds adjacent to Douglas House. In the dark, on foot with no phone signal, it's not the easiest place to find but when you do it is fabulous. Designed and decorated to be a modern family cottage, it is very clean and nicely furnished, well set out and able to sleep 7 in 3 rooms. We loved this place, one of the nicest places we have stayed and the log burner made it really homely. |

Just had a weekend away at Douglas Cottage Penycae and really enjoyed it. Excellent accommodation with no complaints whatsoever. Very spacious with plenty of room for all seven of us, both inside and out. Lovely patio to sit and enjoy the surroundings if you are as lucky with the weather as we were. Very quiet and relaxing. Deb & Mike, the hosts were very obliging and nothing was too much trouble. Can definitely recommend a stay here if you like a home from home experience. |

Lovely holiday rental in a beautiful area. Good standard property, lovely friendly hosts, well set up. Lovely fresh Victoria sandwich sponge on arrival. Well recommended. Would definitely use again. |
