Dollars Cottage in Llangennith is a four-bedroom holiday home with beautiful country cottage gardens that sleeps seven people and is set the heart of the extremely popular village of Llangennith with easy access to the beach. Steeped in traditional village folklore, Dollars Cottage derives its name from the loot taken from a ship that ran aground on the beach, the spoils were sold to fund the build of the cottage with plenty of tales surrounding the story. Dollars Cottage is extremely well presented and furnished to offer a high quality self catering holiday home, ideal for families that love Llangennith Beach, popular with great surf, sand dunes and family fun. There is a beautifully finished, warm and comfy lounge at Dollars Cottage, L-shaped sofas face the wood burner and the flatscreen TV, perfect in the colder months when you come back from the beach and want to warmup. The country style kitchen and dining room are interlinked and slate tiled throughout, clean lines and yet retaining the warmth of the heart of the cottage. The cottage has an Aga style electric oven and hob as well as an additional electric ceramic hob, built-in dishwasher and bags of character. There is also a utility room where you will find plenty of cupboard space along with the fridge freezer and the washer dryer. The dining room to the side has a dining table and chairs seating six people and is accessed directly from the kitchen. There is also a downstairs shower room, ideal for washing down when you turn from the beach with a fully tiled shower room and cubicle, wash hand basin and WC. All of the bedrooms at Dollars Cottage are on the first floor including a king-size master bedroom, a second double bedroom, a third bedroom with twin beds and a fourth bedroom that has single bed and a TV. The family bathroom is beautiful finished with a freestanding bath and a handheld shower, vanity units with a mirror above, wash hand basin and WC. All of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with linen provided and are designed to be cosy and warm. To the rear of Dollars Cottage, you will find a very good size garden with a hedge surrounding it and is mostly lawned. Complete with patio furniture and a swing, the garden is designed to be family friendly and the space in which you can relax and enjoy the natural environment.
