We enjoyed Barony St very much . We come to Edinburgh regularly to visit our son at the university and prefer house rental as we are a family of six . This flat is pretty central but as it's at the end is the street it's quiet . It's also roomy and had everything you need. We would stay here again . It was very good value for money for Edinburgh. Definitely recommend !

When we first saw the property advertised on Trip Advisor we were quite taken with the flat. We ordered, and that in itself was a good process. We only paid a deposit, with the balance due just a short time before the vacation started. The owners, the Tivendales, were a friendly and helpful couple. Some things did not quite work out, but they corrected them immediately and I always say it's not about getting it right first time, it's about what happens if things aren't quite right, and we found the owners to be very good at sorting things out.

I have walkin

The apartment is located In a lovely area with independent local bars and restaurants. The best meals we had all were week were eaten in the local area rather than the city centre. The centre of town was a short walk away and there is plenty to see and do in Edinburgh. Upon arrival there was a bottle of wine which we opened straight away- nice touch! Only down sides were parking - had to pay ( but it is city centre so what do you expect!!) and we never figured out the boiler. Which didn't matter as used dish washer and electric shower!
