We have now stayed here 3 times and each visit has been superb.

The accommodation is first class; the views outstanding and the owners excellent

There is lots to do within an hour or the cottage or alternatively you can just sit back and relax

It was like ?home from home? staying here as we live in the Lake District, but the house/barn conversion was absolutely beautiful and a real treat for us! The hot tub was perfectly situated outside looking onto the far hills and close by farm animals. The owners were extremely welcoming, providing us with free range eggs, chocolates and much more! They were helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I came with my partner and 4 other friends, we loved that each bedroom was ensuite, allowing privacy but the house also had two beautiful living rooms to relax in! We would highly recommend this accommodation and will certainly be returning!! Thanks :)

The location of the cottage was wonderful (if a bit difficult to find due to lack of signal on my phone) but once we made it there, it was great.

Very quiet and relaxing and the hot tub was lovely.

The cottage is well kept and the hosts were some of the nicest people we have experienced when travelling.

We also went on day trips to snowdia, conwy castle and the Wirral/Liverpool all a 40-60 mine drive away.

I would definitely recommend this cottage and would like to stay again k the near future.

We stayed here for a week along with the rest of my family which included 6 adults and a baby.

The cottage is situated in a very quiet, secluded spot on the side of a hill not far from the town of Ruthin, which made the cottage quite tricky to find, (there is no mobile phone signal) - so it made it a bit more difficult trying to find the cottage if you arrive in the dark like we did! Absolutely fantastic and luxurious cottage. The cottage has been thoughtfully converted and finished to the highest standard. Quality furnishings have been used throughout, the beds being very comfortable and affording a good night’s sleep. The place to relax, so peaceful but only 15 minutes away from Ruthin where you can find all you need to keep you going. From the great welcome from our hosts to the quality of the property this is a fantastic find. Ample space for everyone to get together for a chat or a game of scrabble yet plenty space to have your own

It's taken me a while to get to this review but I think the fact I still remember what a fabulous time we had is testimony to the standard of this cottage! Bruce and Catrin are wonderful hosts, attentive enough without being overbearing and making you feel uncomfortable - the added extras were also much appreciated after a long drive!
