Cottage Review:

We had a great weekend here. The cottage was lovely, tastefully furnished, well equipped and well located for visiting the area. We were welcomed on arrival by the owner. We had ordered some food in advance and it was there ready for us. The alpacas were an added attraction!

Make up of party:  There was 3 of us all senior citizens!

Cottage Review: The property was exactly as decribed on the website. The location was perfect with a young child as we had use of their beautiful and extensive gardens. The property was located in the quiet contryside yet had easy access by car to nearby supermarkets and activities. North Devon has so much to offer that we hardly scratched the service and would love to go back. I would highly recommend this property and it's friendly and welcoming owners.

Cottage Review: I would highly recommend using Helpful Holidays. They were very friendly on the phone and the details on the website mathced exactly to the cottage when we arrived. The booking and payment process was very easy with clear confirmation details and information on how to get to the cottage. I will be using you again.

Cottage Review: We were very pleased with The Stables - the owners had even lit the woodburner for our arrival which was greatly appreciated. The area was delightful and we would happily return.

Cottage Review: This is our second visit this year to this property. Great location, loads for the kids to do even though it was December (Raining and cold!). Siobahn and Eamon the owners are very accomodating, we couldnt ask for more. Planning to come back next year already!

Cottage Review: Our general thoughts on the property were that it was lovely - and the use of the owners pool an absolute bonus. It was very comfortable and the bedrooms in particular were some of the best we have had for a holiday home. Good sizes & with lots of useful storage and plenty of hangers (not everyone wants to just shove stuff in drawers!) Have stayed in cottages with better equipped kitchens though. It wasn't bad - just lacking in some areas. e. g. could have done with more mugs, & had to go and buy a baking tray to fit the smaller oven (especially as the door wouldn't shut properly on the main oven)

Cottage Review: Very relaxed and comfortable house in a super location for easy access to beaches if sunny or Plymouth, Kingsbridge etc. if the weather is poor. The swimming pool is a real boon and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

Cottage Review: Lovely, well appointed cottage with big swimming pool - absolutely ideal for families. Very warm and cosy - we were very comfortable in January !
