A delightful visit spending a few days in this beautifully appointed cottage. Well placed for the history and culture for those interested in art and craft being near to the \'Guild\' of silversmiths and Barn gallery to name but two.

The RSC at Stratford within easy reach for the first night of King Lear with the controversial new stage.

Self catering is ideal as the general store for most produce is next door but one.

Avoid eating out as the restaurants are prohibitively expensive.

I hope that you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Thank you to the caring owners for making this possible.

The property is everything it says it is on the website. Beautifully furnished and equipped (Sorry again Sarah about the egg cup but I hope everyone after us likes the contrasting set!!!) Seriously, apart from being so well equipped it is situated in an ideal position in the middle of the village (and chucking over the wall distance to the super italian restautant next door) the hosts are so welcoming and accomodating that I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage and indeed look forward to my return visit. Andy & Sarah its the best!!

Fantastic cottage - really want to echo other reviewers comments. We stay in lots of holiday cottages and this one is by far the best. Great location both in the town and also for the wider area. Very dog friendly which is a bonus too. Andy and Sarah do a wonderful job to make this sweet cottage as appealing as possible.

Immediately welcoming with excellent facilities and close to all the shopping / eating you could want when indulging in a quiet country sojourn. Apart from eateries in Campden itself we walked to (and very much enjoyed the high quality food)The Churchill Arms at Paxford and The Ebrington Arms (strangely enough in Ebrington). Excellent Deli in nearby Broadway as well as a good supermarket for the little extras.

This is an absolutely gorgeous cottage in a beautiful location. The fixtures and fittings are of an excellent standard and you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The log burning stove added to the cosiness of the property in March! It is a great base for exploring the Cotswolds and the village itself has everything you need from great pubs and restaurants to shops. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be booking it again! The owners Sarah and Andy are lovely and really helpful, you won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Wonderful! We loved this cottage so much we didn't want to leave. Everything about it was great. We were very impressed with the high standard of all the fixtures and fittings, decor is lovely, it was completely spotless and provided all the things you'd expect e.g. towels, soap, iron, hairdryer. However it is the little things that really make a difference so finding milk in the fridge was a godsend as we were gasping for a cuppa! The champagne and cake on the table were wonderful as well. Sarah and Andy were really helpful - we were on honeymoon and my husband is coeliac but they were more than happy to leave us some champagne and a selection of gluten-free goodies. The location very peaceful but central, best of both worlds. If you want to go out and about it's really handy, but if you want a quiet night in with the fire roaring and snuggled up under the blanket on the very comfy sofas then it's great for that too. I loved the bath, easily spent about 2 hours a day in there! We hope to return.

We feel it's the little extra's that make all the difference. Guests want to be able to sit & relax as soon as they've had a look around the cottage and so tea, coffee, milk & cake are essential! It was our pleasure to source the gluten free goodies for you. Please visit us again!

This was our 4th visit to The Honey Pot, which speaks volumes! The cottage is always immaculately clean and very well appointed. You are in the heart of Chipping Campden, yet away from any noise, an R & R paradise. Places to eat and drink are within walking distance, but should you wish an evening infront of a log fire, in a lovely cottage - all you need is at hand. Highly recommended!

Wonderful cottage, torch useful if you arrive in the dark to walk down the snicket! Not sure how it would be with the Italian restaurant kitchen smells opposite in the summer.

Having said this it is a cosy cottage and we will definitely be going back again.

Sarah and Andy

Firstly congratulations on receiving your award - no doubt you are both delighted with this honour. I have an appreciation of your success as I am the immediate past Chairman of Tourism Sunshine Coast, the regional tourism body which represented the largest $3b industry a year in our region.

The Honeypot will always be in our thoughts. For two years in a row we were most fortunate to stay in the cottage at Chipping Campden. After the very long flight from our Australian home, what better cottage to relax and unwind in before we enjoyed the delights and pleasures of Chipping Campden and the Cotswolds. We have been made most welcome and the exquisite furnishings and attention to the finest details were of great pleasure and set the scene for our stays. In fact we were so impressed with the Laura Ashley furnishes and linen we shipped two large parcels home after visiting the store at Stratford on Avon!

The personal attention of both Sarah and Andy has also been a highlight - the welcoming baskets, the stocking up of the wood box - the replacement of the electric kettle - nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.

Both Maggie and I have as well a very special reason to always remember the Honeypot. Without Maggie knowing I arranged to have our wedding vows recommitted at the Rollright Stones during our stay last year. After 48 years of being married it seemed to me the Honeypot, the Rollright Stones (one of Maggie's favourite spots) and dinner to follow at Mickleton at the Three Ways House Hotel to enjoy a lovely dinner and the Pudding Club treats was a perfect way to celebrate.

Sarah and Andy shared my secret. They went to no end of trouble to assist me in organising the wonderful occasion. Especially touching was the bottle of champagne, the basket of goodies, and their best wishes that was waiting for us when we came home after our dinner. In fact we still have the white ribbon which was around the bottle and the cork at home, to remind us of Sarah and Andie's thoughts and kindness. The champagne is long gone!

As you can see the Honeypot Cottage has the most precious of memories for us and the wonderful help and friendship of Sarah and Andy for our two stays will always be with us.

An idyllic cottage, furnished beautifully with such lovely attention to detail - my idea of heaven. Although the weather was not kind to us during our stay the cottage was so homely we didn't mind staying in more than we would have done! I have to mention the gorgeous bath - as a pregnant and ever expanding lady, it was pure luxury to settle back with a book and a slice of (kindly left by Sarah and Andy) cake! Location was fantastic with a great number of local eateries to explore and a fantastic local deli in the village too. Now parents to 2 children we fully intend to return - sans enfants - as it is a perfect retreat for a relaxing and regenerative break. Thank you Sarah and Andy - I am already planning our next escape!

This cottage is a little gem. Situated just off the high street in the middle of the charming Chipping Campden village. Located down a secluded path which provides privacy. Small but perfectly formed - a lot of attention has gone into the decor and making sure that the guest feels at home. Sarah and Andy were really helpful and on hand to answer our questions prior to the holiday. Real wood fire, comfy sofas and good local produce (try the home made sausages from the butchers!) make for cosy evenings in. Plenty to explore on foot nearby and ideal base for day trips by car if you feel like getting out. This was our first experience of a holiday cottage and we will definitely be returning!

What a perfect holiday we had at the Honey Pot cottage - it really was ideallic!!! From before we even arrived, we were made to feel so welcome through the contact we received from Andy and Sarah. It was our first break away in a cottage and was unsure of how to collect the keys and other such protocols but everything was explained very clearly to us.

On arrival, we were blown away by the beauty of the town and the cottage - the photos certainly do not do it justice! The cake and wine that was left for us was such a lovely gesture and very much appreciated.

In fact, the attention to detail throughout the cottage is phenomenal. My husband and I had gone to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and it was the most romantic and perfect place to do so ... our best holiday ever!!!

We spent many a night curled up on the sofa with the log burner on and Sarah came to re-fill the logs for us.

The equipment in the kitchen was extremely handy and meant we could spend some nights in and some nights, we ate out in the town.

I absolutely loved the bath - it is soooooo relaxing! The bedrooms were a great size and were so pretty. These, along with the little hearts and other such details made it feel homely but also very luxurious and in turn, very relaxing.

The information pack was very handy and helped us plan a few days out and some lovely nights out.

Andy and Sarah have produced a wonderful cottage which is just oh so perfect!!! Thank you for going to so much trouble to make our stay so wonderful.

We had a lovely few days here in 2008 - the cottage looked so beautiful on the website and we were not disappointed. We had been to the area a number of times before, but this was the best accommodation by far. It gave us exactly what we wanted - the perfect retreat away from life in London, but near enough to Stratford to be able to visit the restaurants and theatre. Not that it is necessary to got that far for a wonderful meal, there were a couple of beautiful restaurants within stumbling distance of the cottage. The cottage itself had all the rustic charm we were looking for, including a lovely standing bath which helped us to relax even further! What a great stay, I would reccomend it to anyone.
