Description of the holiday cottage
3 bedrooms, sleeps 7 plus cots, 2 bath/shower room and detached games room with full size table tennis table. Superbly converted single storey detached cow byre with an enormous enclosed garden with superb timber play equipment and open views over the surrounding countryside towards the coast. Perfect for family holidays. Finished to a very high standard featuring exposed beams and vaulted ceilings, large kitchen/dining room with aga range cooker and intergrated appliances, wood burning stove, large plasma screen TV, superking master bed with en-suite shower room. Exceptionally child friendly with a 5 starfish rating from Coastal Retreats............

| Cottage Review:
we booked this cottage with coastalretreats.co.uk looking for a UK holiday close to beaches and the Northumberland National Park. The cottage is absolutely first class and tastefully decorated throughout. The Croft is the perfect location to feel that you really get away from the hustle and bustle of life and it comes so well equipped that we felt right at home very quickly. The cottage has the luxury of an AGA which I've always wanted to experiment with and the lounge had everything from a log burner to 3D TV and blu ray player. The owners provide a host of books, games and family DVDs which catered for everyone's tastes. Outdoors there is a barbecue and children's play equipment with far reaching views which gave the appearance of endless space. There is also a games room which had table tennis, football, darts and air hockey. This was great for the kids who enjoyed 'the den' long into the evening. It is a great location for exploring the gorgeous Northumberland beaches and castles. We couldn't believe how quiet the beaches were and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Overall, The Croft came at a small premium compared to other cottages in the area but it is so well thought through that we felt it represented fantastic value for money. We will definitely be back. We'd go as far as saying that we had our perfect holiday at The Croft! |
