| Cottage Review:
We stayed here for a week with a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by unspoilt countryside. The owners, Mike and Nicola were wonderfully welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They showed the children the lambs in the barn, let us name their new chickens and gave us fresh eggs! The location is superb - a great base to explore the local area (Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Linton/Linmouth etc) and Mike and Nicola gave lots of great tips too. A lovely holiday in peaceful and beautiful Exmoor. Ideally situated with fabulous views, the coast inky a short drive away. Very comfortable cottage, friendly owners and a cream tea to welcome us on arrival. Loved everything about this cottage and love the area. |

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in The Byre during September. We were lucky with the weather which, for most of the stay, was hot. The cottage is well equipped and really comfortable. A memorable week. |
