Cottage Review:

We returned today from St. Helena cottage and, to be honest, hated to leave! The cottage is absolutely lovely and the owners John and Jenny are very friendly without being intrusive. The location is perfect, nestled in the glorious North Yorkshire Moors with the moors literally on your doorstep! The views are breathtaking! The cottage is very dog friendly, warm, cosy, clean and has absolutely everything you could need. The surrounding area is stunning and is perfect for long walks. It is conveniently located within a few miles of a village with shops, a post

Cottage Review:

An amazing location set at the head of the valley surrounded by fields and moorland, the cottage was very well equipped and unbelievably clean. If I hadn't seen reviews from previous years I would have thought that this was the first year of rental - it really was that clean and fresh!

Quiet, tranquil, a feast for the eyes and even the sheep have their volume turned down!

Nowhere is very close so you do expect to travel a few miles during the visit but all of that is on lovely country roads, don't expect takeaways - it would be cold by the time it arrived!
