Cottage Review:

We stayed with along with friends who had booked the cottage for a long weekend in which we wanted to do some walking in the peak district and to visit their son who has just moved to Sheffield. Edale is the perfect location for both with Sheffield a 30 minute train journey away and Kinder Scout on your doorstep.

The instructions for finding the cottage were completely clear and we found it first time, in the dark. The cottage is very well equipped for self catering, a great size for two couples (two toilets help) and is a 10-15 minute walk from two pubs, the station and the start of the Pennine way.

The bedrooms are a decent size, the bedding and towels are of excellent quality and the amount of hot water and power of the shower was first rate.

All in all a great cottage, would love to come back again soon - maybe in late spring next time.

Cottage Review:

We've stayed in these cottages for a few years now and have really enjoyed them. This year we stayed in Midfeather Cottage which is well appointed, comfortable and has everything we need. The owners cannot do enough to be helpful.

The views are stunning from the cottage and you can do an amazing walk every day from the front door.

We have already booked a cottage here for next year.

Cottage Review:

If you are looking for a cottage in the ideal location to explore the peaks this is it, the owner has thought of everything, it was spotless on arrival with good wi fi and it gets 5 stars for the quality of everything in the cottage.

We have been having cottage holidays for over 20 years and are quite picky but this is up with the best of them

Cottage Review:

Best location for hiking around Edale, great food in Edale's pub.

Accomodation provides everything for cooking your own hot meals after a day long ramble, very pleasant, comfortable.

Only downside was the old wooden doors of the rooms that made a lot of noise when opened or shut...if you managed to shut it, that is. But the doors did add to the character of the property.Dont know what the garden is all about...the two square metres paved at the front?or the entire farm which is great
