Cottage Review:

We recently took our boys (6 and 8) to stay at Jill Barker's Middlewick Holiday cottages. We stayed in the cosy *Springfield* cottage, which felt like home the minute we got there. Clean, warm, welcoming.

The trampoline, and indoor pool were super-popular, as were all of the toys, games and books in the library...The views were STUNNING, and Jill even took us on an (incredibly) early sun-rise walk up to the Tor (just behind the cottages, amazing! - we all needed a nice afternoon nap...:)

The boys loved playing with the resident Labradoodle Maggie. (and were enchanted by the 'world's smallest tourist information centre' - in an old red phone box!)

We breakfasted outside in the sunshine (Jill provided a fab breakfastbox for us), the gardens are lovely....And we plan to go back with friends later in the year (we can't wait to try out the Shepherd's cottage) - fab all round!

oh, and the home-made cakes from the local camping-site... yum!

A fabulous holiday cottage with everything we needed for our break. The owner & staff were friendly and helpful. The on site facilities of laundry room, indoor swimming pool were excellent. Loads to do in the area, stunning scenery.
