Cottage Review:

Had a great stay here in August. First time here but will return again because the owners are very nice and very welcoming and the chalet is very clean and warm. Loads of places to take the dog for walks (even a book of walks in the chalet). Beauly is a lovely wee village full of flowers and great places to eat, specially the Priory. Will be booking for next summer - thank you Charley & Linda. [Added at Editor's discretion since it appears to be a helpful review and the reviewer has been authenticated]

Disappointed 😞 in Kilcoy Chalets not up to standard expected. Bins overflowing on arrival small and cramped space. Needs refurbished tv tiny freeview broke up. Electric by coin meter costs too much. Noisy pillow protectors that rustle and keep you awake. No room around the bed banged head on wall getting out of bed. Slippery floor in bathroom old fashioned shower complete with resident spiders.oven hopeless had to get carryouts.

Make up of party:  Couple retired looking for relaxing holiday. Went home for a rest!

Owner response:
Sorry to learn that Kilcoy Chalets were not up to your expectations. Unfortunately, we are not able to action complaints after your stay, (nothing was mentioned during your stay) but we have taken your complaints onboard, however, the chalets are designed for 2 people so we are not able to address your comment regarding the size of the chalets – suffice to say that VisitScotland have consistently awarded us a 3 Star “Good Quality” grading year after year!
Regarding our price tariff, we are competitive with other 3 star self catering accommodations in the area and the size of the rooms/décor are shown clearly in the photographs on all of our advertising on the web, including our home website. Please check our own website for recent comments left by our other guests, many who come year after year and are happy with the size of the chalets and with our service.

Cottage Review: I’ve been here several times thanks to its great location for hill walking. Wifi is a welcome new feature for the inevitable rainy day. The signal comes and goes, so be flexible. Andy, Stratford-upon-Avon
