Cottage Review:

This was our third visit in three consecutive years. We love the area and Horseshoe Cottage is a beautiful cottage that is full of character and cosiness.

It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the owners go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, including a welcome hamper of goodies in the kitchen and a starter pack of logs for the fire.

It is the perfect base from which to explore Cornwall and has the added bonus of a great pub at the top of the road that does great food and drink at reasonable prices.

We would recommend Horsesho

Cottage Review:

We have just spent a lovely week in Horseshoe Cottage, it's a real gem. Debbie and Russell the owners leave a lovely welcome hamper of homemade cake, locally produced bacon and eggs, butter milk and bread, they are on hand should you need them. The cottage has a log fire and log burner (We didn't need to light the log burner) and is very warm and cosy, the kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and washing machine and is wonderfully spacious, I certainly had kitchen envy. The lounge area is very comfortable with 2 sofas and a television, dvd player

Cottage Review:

"Amazing cottage would be delighted to live there permanently"

The cottage was beautiful, clean and well presented. Debbie and Russell the owners had gone way beyond what you would expect of a fine hotel with a lovely welcome hamper on arrival too. The cottage is set in a lovely village location and so peaceful.

Can't recommend this place enough it's just perfect.

Looking forward to our return.

Well presented and well equipped holiday cottage everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Owner lives close by so if any problems they are there to help . Beds are very comfortable and heating upstairs keeps bedrooms nice and warm . There is an open fire downstairs and logs are provided and they can be purchased at the shop at the top of the road for 3.30 per bag which lasted us 3 days . Good Wi Fi signal allowing access to internet to check for places to visit and eat . Stairs are a bit steep but they do go straight up so should not be a problem . Excel

Cottage Review:

Beautiful 250-year-old cottage built from the slate from the quarry just a couple of hundred yards up the road.

Cosy sitting/dining room with open fire and good TV for those cosy evenings in. Kitchen with all mod-cons (inc. dishwasher & washing machine), plus crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, etc. Top-notch bathroom with great shower and bath. Very comfortable bed. A lovely touch was the welcome pack, including homemade cake, bread, milk, bacon, eggs, porridge and biscuits, plus bag of logs & kindling. Spotlessly clean.

Ideally located for
