| Cottage Review:
Stayed in Hilltop Cottage and the Sykes Cottages reviews are not accurate at all . The property is right on the roadside on a blind bend with no proper footpath. It is very dangerous to access and is supposed to be dog friendly. You cannot access the garden with a dog as it is up a steep set of steps and there is no grass at all,3m x 3m slabs approx.We were nearly knocked down by the speeding traffic as there are 20 + skip lorries every hour thats without the other huge lorries and cars. The noise is horrendous starting at 4.40am every day and the building s |

We were booked in here for a week, but left after one night! Less than eighteen inches from the main road, the lights and noise from the passing cars was awful. Not peaceful, or relaxing and dangerous every time you stepped out the door. There is no garden to sit in, no rear windows to look at a different view than that of the road to the front. It maybe nicely done inside, but that doesn't make for a pleasant stay and there is no phone signal anywhere or internet.
