Cottage Review:

I booked a long weekend at Clos-y-Hendy for May 2020 for a family group including my 98 year old mother-in-law. About two days after the booking was placed, the full extent of the Coronavirus crisis became clear, and it was plainly impossible for us to continue with the booking. Sykes would not help in re-booking for a new date and kept the £245 deposit in full. They are in my view a truly disgraceful company that seems interested only in taking people's money. I strongly suggest avoiding them and recommend to property owners to appoint agents/managers that have higher standards of customer care.

Cottage Review:

The house was plenty big enough for 3 families. Our only wish was that it was a little nearer the sea, but the woodland walk to the beach was pleasant.

The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of crockery ect. For 9 people. The bedrooms were a good size and the lounge was really comfy. Having a dining table big enough for us to all eat together was lovely.

The children and dogs liked the outside space and we played games in the gazebo in the evenings.

The picture is of Tresaith Beach which isn't too busy, but is about a 20 min walk from the property.
