Absolutely fantastic property in a lovely little village. Although there are not many shops in Sheriff Hutton to choose from, it is within easy access of supermarkets and the Park and Rides into York city.

For the children, there is a small playground, as well as the ruined castle behind the property, which has a public footpath running around its perimeter. The castle is privately owned, but the owner allows visits by prior arrangement if you phone him.

The service was excellent, the house was very comfortable everything you require is there and more. It is situated in the centre of the village opposite the Highwayman Inn which serves meals, postoffice and shop around the corner. There is a lovely walk up to the Castle from the side of the house. The people in the village are very friendly.
