Cottage Review:

This is a delightful cottage in the village of Ingleton, with all facilities within a 100m or so from the property.

Set over three floors, there is a choice of access, either through a front door directly off the road and going in to the lounge, or more practically, through a covered porch (useful for shoes, boots and coats) from the car parking area and leading in to both a very useful utility area (washing machine, tumble dryer, Belfast sink and toilet) and a well equipped kitchen.

The top floor, reached by a final steep set of stairs, has the main / do

This is listed as dog friendly but it is very small and 2 dogs take up room. The outside was just a roadway leading to the cottage next door and could not be used for BBQ' or drinks without moving to let next door have access. There was no outside area where dogs could be let free as the parking led straight to the road with no gate. There was no ventilation in the living room without using the front door which opened on to the road. The top floor bedroom had a large roof window with about 2 inches opening and was very hot in June. The GOOD point was a lar

Cottage Review:

We had a week in this cottage, we were greeted by a Tea loaf, a loaf of bread and two pints of milk, the cottage had everything we needed, was very well furnished and had been refurbished to an exceedingly high standard. The cottage is well placed in the centre of the village with local shops, restaurants, cafe's and public houses and a fish and chip stop all within an easy walk. Ingleton is well placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and is close to the Lake District, all in all a very good holiday cottage.

Cottage Review:

Spent the February half term week with 2 teenagers and a dog in Bell Horse cottage - which was very welcoming, warm and comfortable (thankfully as the weather was cold and blustery). The cottage is right in the heart of Ingleton, just a few steps from the shops, pubs and a justifiably famous waterfall walk.

We were a little nervous as to how well the teenagers would cope, but they loved their room, the fabulous bathroom, watching Dvds on the TV and making frequent trips the old fashioned sweet shop. We on the other hand enjoyed the lovely master bedroom on
