Where do I start..... Steep steps leading down to property. No disabled access. No trays/pans for oven. 1 badly scratched frying pan.A dustpan would be handy so would a hoover. Handle fell off boiler cupboard which owner knew about. Why not fix it. Cobwebs in places. No operating instructions for heated flooring. I know we're in unprecedented times but this property goes beyond basic...

Nice view from veranda

Cottage Review:

Stayed here for a week (not all), it was a spacious semi-detached cottage. It was located in the small village of Anthony Torpoint, access was down a farm lane, the turning to it was tricky, you had to keep a careful eye most for cars trucks coming the other way (blind corner on a hill). Parking is outside on the lane, no passing traffic so was okay. Inside it was roomy and bright, but no washing machine which I thought was required essential. The view out the patio doors was cool, you can see the estuary in the distance, sofa is reasonably and tv is a standard size. The bedrooms, unfortunately this is the reason for the 3 stars, the mattresses when slept on were like sleeping in a hammock which did my back no favours, I left on Wednesday afternoon because I refused to have a bad back in the morning. If the owner would change these to ?newer? firmer mattresses, then it would be a 4 out of 5, add a washing machine then it would be a 5 out of 5

Cottage Review:

Cottage has the wow factor as soon as you walk in. Clean and comfortable with lovely view. Would stay there again. A hair dryer, bathroom curtains and some coffee provided would have been nice touches. Double bed could do with a new mattress as it was not so comfortable after a couple of nights. Couldn't get the hang of the heating but the wood fire was nice. Good location but no place close by for a nice dog walk, you needed to go in the car. A nasty bend to cross to get to the lane where cottage is but a lot of places to visit within a few miles.

Nicely furnished cottage in a lovely location. Comfortable and clean.

Would have liked to see a washing machine and broadband would been a big plus as there is no 3g signal at all.

Would definitely return

Cottage Review:

We stayed at the cottage with another couple and our little dog. It had everything we needed from comfy seating, spectacular views, a fully stocked kitchen, a nice welcome pack and flowers in the vase, comfy beds and two bathrooms. The interior was open plan and modern so it felt spacious yet homely and we could all chat whilst cooking and enjoying a glass of wine. Finished to a high standard yet felt at ease. Even though the weather was not kind when we were on holiday we still managed a lovely walk around Edgecombe Park, the passenger ferry across to Plym
