Cottage Review:   Spotless, spacious flat with lovely view of Chester's Canal. The owners of this flat clearly have put a lot of thought into what makes a stay pleasant for travelers, and no amenity was overlooked. The location was superb- we could easily walk into Chester along the lovely Canal path, picking up gorceries at the Tesco on our way back. The dedicated parking space was wonderful, and driving out of town took less than 3 mintues, as we were always going against traffic, heading out of town in the morning and back in in the evening. We walked to the train station in under 10 minutes. Beds and pillows were great, the furniture was upscale, as was the fully stocked kitchen. We used this property as a base for exploring northern Wales, as well as Shrewsbury, Ludlow, and the Peak District. Several close Pubs and restaurants, and of course Chester has it's own charms. This property was by far the best value we have encountered in our travels to the UK.

Cottage Review:   We found the Wharton Lock apartment spacious, the chairs and settee in the in the lounge very relaxing, the beds where extremely comfortable with the added advantage of the master bedroom being en-suite, the well equipped kitchen was very easy to work in with the dishwasher and washing machine making life easy, all in all it lived up to our expectations and look forward to returning again soon to further explore the lovely city of Chester and the surrounding countryside. Cottage Review:   This was probably the best place we have ever stayed. To start with, the instructions on how to get there and how to access the property were brilliant - so easy to follow for a worry-free start to the holiday. Having free parking so close to Chester was another big plus. The apartment itself is of a really high standard. We like our telly at night and having the extra Freeview stations was a bonus. The suite is sheer luxury and the kitchen is very well appointed meaning that you can cook fairly complicated meals if that is your thing (we love to cook so we loved it). The dining area is great for having a more "formal" night and we loved the little balcony where we could sit with coffee or a glass of wine and watch the barges pass. Say hello to the barge owners as they are all very friendly! The TV in the bedroom was also welcome and the bedrooms were gorgeous and very well appointed. Add to this the Wireless internet connection and the stash of tourist information and you have a fab break waiting to happen! We loved this place and can't say enough about it.
Make up of party:  Just a couple but our daughter had made other arrangements and regretted it when she saw our photos!!

Cottage Review: My 3rd stay and brilliant as always. The recent refurbishment has been done to the usual high standard. Thank you Sandra & Graham for excellent service. I will most certainly return next year and will recommend to all my friends.
