Description of the holiday cottage
This delightful cottage is on the main estate and boasts spectacular views of Tinto Hill and the surrounding landscape. The cottage is non-smoking and is four-star accredited by the Visitscotland. Upstairs it comprises a king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Downstairs there is a double bedroom, a kitchen/dining room; fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, lounge, bathroom with bath and separate shower area, separate toilet and a utility room. It has oil fired central heating. We have 13 self-catering cottages nestled in the hills and woods of a lovely rural Estate in Southern Scotland between Lanark and Biggar. Graded 2 - 4 star Visitscotland. 200 year old, stonebuilt with character, all different, former Estate worker cottages. History and nature abound. Working farm producing beef, lamb and venison on sale in our farm shop. Pets welcome. Small private fishing lochan and private tennis court.
