Description of the holiday cottage
A family-run cosy country cottage in a unique rural setting only half a mile from the City of Edinburgh boundary, under the personal supervision of the owners who live next door.
Best Features
This is a 300 year old building steeped in history and rebuilt to modern standards in 2004 with a fully fitted modern kitchen and central heating throughout. The cottage provides a peaceful haven right on the doorstep of the capital city of Edinburgh, with excellent bus services to the city centre. The surrounding area abounds with beautiful walks and wildlife, and the village enjoys a peaceful rural location and is an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh, Central Scotland, the Borders, Fife and Perthshire.
