The Loft (sleeps 2), The Stables (sleeps 4)2 bedrooms, 'No. 1' (sleeps 4) with 1 Kingsize bedrooms with ensuite & twin bedroom with family bathroom, The Carriage Barn (sleeps 7) kingsize bedroom with ensuite bathroom, double & single room with ensuite and double room with ensuite.

Set in the lea of Helsby Hill and the grounds of the historic, Grade 2 listed, Rake House The Courtyard makes a central location for doscovering, Chester, Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester, the Wirral Penninsula & North Wales.
Leave the car at home & arrive by train to Helsby Station which is a 2 minutes walk from The Courtyard or park the car up during your stay & use the train and buses which stop at the top of the lane.
Excellent pub, the famous Helsby Arms gastro pub serving fresh home made food and cask marque conditioned beer just one mile away. Excellent fish & chip shop, chinese takeaway & Indian Restaurant/takeaway just 300 yards away.
Chester is 8 mins (1 stop), Manchester 50 mins, Llandudno 75 mins, London Euston 140 mins.
Lots of golf courses nearby including championship standard, The Sandstone Trail - ideal for walkers starts it's 35 mile trek acroos the beautiful Cheshire ridge at Frodsham just 3 miles away. |
