Description of the holiday cottage
Perfect for family holidays, celebration parties, pampering weekends or get togethers with friends, Southwold Barn is situated in Compton Abdale a quintessential Cotswold village. Whilst having every modern convenience, it retains it's original charm and character with exposed stonewalls, beams and nooks and crannies and comfortably accommodates 8 people. The private garden, which has a slow stream meandering through opens onto a large field, perfect for family games of cricket or football and is equipped with garden furniture and barbecues for alfresco eating. Southwold Barn is stylishly furnished with deep comfy sofas, antiques, a well equipped kitchen, a large refectory table for convivial dining and has a secondary sitting area. The Banr is centrally heated has a woodburning stove in the lounge, and as you would expect for a five star gold award property, has LCD TV, WiFi, DVD player, music system, hairdryers, washing machine and tumble drier , fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ovens/hobs. Books, games, DVDs and local walking maps provided. In the heart of the Cotswolds, close to Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, Cirencester, Cheltenham. Oxford and Stratford are about 30 miles. Bath and Warwick, 45 miles. We are conveniently located for sports lovers, children’s attractions, garden lovers, and those who enjoy walking.Best Features
