Description of the cottage holiday
Salmons Lodge is a delightful detached two storey house situated on the Roscommon side of the town of Lanesborough in the heartland of Ireland. Sleeping eight comfortably, it is within a five-minute walk of the river Shannon and Lough Ree with its excellent course fishing. The property consists of two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two single bedrooms (one of which is downstairs). Central heating throughout. Upstairs there is a bathroom with Bath/ Shower. Downstairs there is a sitting room with open solid fuel fireplace. Kitchen/dining room with a solid fuel range, a shower room, a second kitchen, a conservatory and a multi- purpose room that can be used as an extra bedroom. There are well kept gardens surrounding the house, parking for at least four vehicles and extensive lockable outbuildings one of which contains a bait fridge. The lake is approx. 300 meters walk away from the house and fresh bait and fishing equipment are available in the town as is a boat hire service
