Description of the self catering property
Poppy Cottage is located in the center of this thriving coastal village. The sandy beach is just a 10 minute walk. Tastefully decorated throughout with central heating, it offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 1st floor - Double bedroom with kingsize four poster bed, dressed in white lace with en-suite bathroom. One single bedroom. Ground floor - Twin bedroom with patio doors opening onto patio & garden. Ground floor shower room, with power shower, hand basin and W/C. Main Sitting room - wide screen T. V. and digital Freeview, D. v. d player. Open brick fire place with electric wood burning stove. Kitchen/diner - Fully equipped including dishwasher (tablets provided), washing machine, fridge freezer, gas cooker, Ironing facilites, microwave. All bed linen, except cot bedding, gas and electric is included in the price. On request at no extra cost - Travel cot, stair gate, high chair and booster cushion. Enclosed garden with garden furniture. Personal supervision, quality assured.
Best Features
The village has a grocery store, newsagents, church, post office, petrol station, and 2 public houses both serving hot meals. During the main season - chinese restaurant, fish & chip outlet and cafe serving full English breakfast. Many places of interest are within easy reach on Hopton-on-sea. Just a short drive (5 miles inland) you will reach Oulton Broad, here you can hire day boats or board a river cruise and explore the Southern broads.
