Description of the holiday cottage
Amongst Whitby's famous red pan tiled roofs, which cluster under the East Cliff and overlooked by Whitby Abbey and St. Mary's Parish Church, you will find Whitby East Town Cottages. The cottage enjoys an excellent location, views and atmosphere. Margherita overlooks the cobbled Church Street and its infectious bustle. A short walk from either brings you to the Old Market Place, Tate Hill Beach, the East Pier and the famous 199 Steps, which lead you up to St Mary's Church, the Abbey and some superb views of the town and the sea. The cottage also offer the perfect base for visitors looking to explore the North Yorkshire Coast and North Yorks National Park.
