Description of the self catering
Lletty stands on the wooded hillside like a bohemian gentleman, tall and proud of the countryside stretching before him to the distant hills.
The adventure begins with a long dirt track through the woods. In a clearing at the end of the track is sophisticated Lletty, an unexpectedly comfortable house in a peaceful place with a spectacular backdrop. Like us, you’ll feel lucky to have found it, privileged to sleep here and reminded of it every time you hear the wind in the trees.

Cottage Review:   We had a fantastic time at Letty, what was so good was the information we wanted to know was all researched for us before we got there! The house is perfect, it had everything we wanted and more. the icing on the cake was the weather, we had breakfast on the terrace every morning - at the beginning of March! We will definitely be going again and telling our friends about it too.

Cottage Review: We had a fantastic time at Lletty, thank you. It more than lived up to expectation.

There is only one comment for improvement. We were not able to work out how to operate the grill on either oven. That may have been down to our own stupidity but, had there been any instructions available for the oven, that would have been appreciated.

Thanks for the excellent organisation and I have already recommended you to friends.

Cottage Review: The directions to Lletty were excellent. We found it without a sat nav in the dark. When we hit the track that snakes towards the house the adventure began. The step by step guide with mileage and diagrams proved very reassuring in the pitch black and there were lots of oohs and ahs from the kids in the back as we slowly traversed the rough road.
The house was very warm and welcoming after our journey and we all loved the underfloor heating. As the web site says Lletty has a true "cooks kitchen". It had everything we could possibly need - even a hand held whisk to make our home made hummus.
We made good use of the two fires, which definitely sped up the relaxation process. Lletty was extremely stylish but felt like a “real” home rather than a show home. Definitely the most upmarket self catering house we had stayed. Our room on the top floor was akin to one you would find in a boutique hotel.
The kids loved the trampoline and outdoor space and it was great to see them away from TV, computer games and their DS's - enjoying the outdoor life. They were only disappointed that they could not try out the outdoor pizza oven which was not an option in February!
Not to be missed is the shop Heavenly in Llandeilo – we couldn't resist the home-made ice cream, fudge and sweets. We also visited Careg Cennen Castle – where the boys felt like true adventurers exploring the limestone cave by torch light!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Lletty, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially the zip wire and trampoline in the back garden. I loved having a bath there as well as the bath was so much deeper and bigger than ours at home. I liked the kitchen too as it had underfloor heating which was wicked. Close to the house was a hut with loads of wood and I really enjoyed getting wood for the fire with dad.

Getting to the house was like an adventure as the track was very bumpy. There are great walks nearby - you will have to take your wellies though as it can be muddy but it's also lots of fun.

I loved the zip slide and the trampoline and the swings too. I enjoyed the house especially the kitchen because of the underfloor heating and the fire. I loved the sweet shop we went too as well.

Cottage Review: We have recently come back from a 3 day break in Wales having booked a cottage through sheepskinlife. com. I wanted to write this post to recommend this website. The cottage we went to was Lletty and even though the pictures on the website were amazing, they still did not do the cottage justice. The cottage was remote, but we were told to expect this which was just what we were up for. This place was amazing and to cap it off there was an ever lasting supply of logs for the fire (which was great with the cold weather). The beds were also fantastic. The friends we stayed with all commented on the beds.
All in all, the cottage exceeded expectations. The location was fabulous and we were also given details on the local walks, pubs to eat in etc. . I can't wait to book another cottage up. Thanks a lot sheepskinlife.
