Description of the cottage holiday
The traditional Norfolk village of Snettisham is characterized by the pretty golden brown houses - known locally as "gingerbread houses" due to the colouring of the local iron-rich carr stone used in their construction. Lavender Cottage is one of those "gingerbread houses", and is built in the distinctive local carr stone. Tucked away behind the main village road but within easy walking distance of the amenities of Snettisham, this attractive, modern, three bedroom end-terraced house offers bright and welcoming accommodation including a well-equipped kitchen which leads onto the conservatory with a view of the beautiful little garden, often full of wild bird visitors. The cosy sitting room leads into the dining room and is a relaxing space to return to after a day's sightseeing and exploring. Lavender Cottage offers a comfortable holiday retreat at any time of year.
