Hareley Barn, Hareley Farm, Linley Green, Herefordshire, WR6 5RF

Description of the cottage holiday

A thoughtfully restored four star sixteenth century barn on a working rare breeds farm in Herefordshire. Hareley Barn has two good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms one with spa bath and wet-room shower. With wide doorways and level access throughout, apart from a small step into the en-suite bathroom, the cottage is well suited to less able guests. Good walking from the door, the farm is a wildlife haven with beautiful views across an unspoilt rural valley.

The cottage is exactly as it is on the web site (makes a change). It was warm and comfortable. Very quiet location. Could only stay 3 nights so did not have time to look round the animals/farm. Will revisit if it is free and we are back in this part of the world.

Cottage Review:

We had a lovely weekend here with our two children. it is a beautiful location with great views from the barn that weren't shown on the website. living room smaller than it appears on website but still plenty big enough and great that kids can go straight outside and into play area with a swing that let's them look out over the sheep field and valley. lovely walk around the owners fields and a real sense of tranquility. Beds are very comfy and we would highly recommend to others.

We've been visiting the barn since 2003 and always enjoy our short stays. The accommodation is well-designed, tastefully fitted out and full of character. The location is ideal for exploring the countryside and nearby villages. You always receive a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for Gillian, Ross and family. They are also a mine of information on farm animals and local wildlife. We can't guarantee the weather but you won't be disappointed with the facilities.
