| Newly opened in 2006 Garmoran Square is a rural getaway amid spectacular scenery in Mingarry, Moidart, gate way to Ardnamurchan. A traditional-looking croft exterior that is sympathetic to its surroundings and gives lie to the luxurious, contemporary, city -chic interior. The four apartments MacRuairi, Shiel, Tioram and Somerled sleep 2-6 people or up to 18 if taken as a whole – and every bedroom has an en suite bathroom or shower room. The elegant apartments have stunning views across Loch Shiel to Ben Resipole. Each is unique and have been tastefully, decorated, with quality fixtures and fittings throughout — solid oak and slate floors. Fantastic 11. 5ft ceilings and floor to ceiling windows frame the stunning scenery and wildlife. Somerled and Tioram offer a large lounge with log burner and large separate kitchen / dining rooms. MacRuairi and Shiel offer open plan living, dinning kitchen. The cloak rooms doubles up as drying room.
Chopped wood is readily available for you to stoke up the fire and lovely Arran Aromatics in the bathrooms set you up for a lovely spa bath (Tioram and Somerled only)! Maps, walking books and binoculars, are in the apartments for your use during your stay as well as a selection of non and fiction books, games, and DVD’s. Hairdryers and alarm clocks in every bedroom. Plus I pod docking stations with speakers and BBQ’s and outdoor furniture. A warm Highland welcome awaits you. |
