Cottage Review:   Fantastic to get away from it all, cottage is in a great location at the head of the loch. I would recomend it to anyone looking for a quiet spot, plenty for kids to do exploring the beach and we enjoyed loads of walks with the dog!

Cottage Review:   Just been back again to this cottage which is becoming a firm favorite with our family. Despite the wet and windy weather the cottage was warm and snug. Clean and tidy it has had a repaint and change of funiture since our last visit. Owners very helpful and we left happy.

Cottage Review:   just getting round to leaving our thoughts on our stay at Foulain cottage on Eribol estate. It was our first visit this far north and wanted to try somewhere different and WOW it was that (in a great way) Our kids loved going out themselves and exploring the beach right beside the house, we managed to spot 2 otters as well as lots of other wildlife. The cottage had everything we needed, kids were delighted with the bunk beds and good selection of games for them. We went out runs to Durness to the caves and beaches and swimming to Bettyhill pool when it was raining. Love to come back again and have another relaxing break and so my husband can try some fishing.

Cottage Review:   We have just returned from a fabulous weeks holiday at Foulain Cottage. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, a large living room/dining area and a well equipped kitchen. Its a shame about the previous review as it is a lovely cottage and I would say its decorated in a minimalist style, but has everything that you need. It is literally on the edge of Loch Eriboll, with its own private beach, where you can watch the red deer, seals, otters and birds, your next door neighnours are 2/3 miles away. . . . this was a perfect place for our honeymoon.

Cottage Review:   This lovely cottage does everything the advert says. It offers a perfect location for a family holiday in a well kitted out house. If it doesnt have it the owners go out of their way to help as they did with knee boards and wet suits for our kids. Rods and advice were readily given for the local fishing. The only downside is the lack of TV reception which it does say on the booking information but with the wildlife outside the window we didnt miss it during our stay. The rooms were all a good size and had everything we needed. We are booking again.

Cottage Review:   Cottage is in a beautiful location but it goes all down hill from there, furnishing are very basic with only a bed and a hanging rail in the bedrooms, would be impossible for a large family with no storage. Owners claim the cottage will sleep 7/8 and it does but there is only seating for four and that could have done with a good clean. We couln't use oven trays or pots and ended up buying new ones for the durationCould be a superb holiday cottage with a little thought given for the comfort of guests.
