Description of the holiday cottage |
| Our highly insulated, double glazed timber lodge, manufactured from Scandinavian redwood, provides comfortable year round accommodation in a unique setting. The lodge combines generous living space with two bedrooms (double and twin), integrated kitchen/diner with dishwasher, bathroom with shower and French doors leading onto a veranda. The south facing veranda overlooks your own garden with open fields beyond, and garden furniture is provided for dining alfresco. |

| Cottage Review:
A most enjoyable midweek break in a well appointed, beautifully maintained and very comfortable timber lodge. The booking process was a very personalised experience and little touches like a welcoming supply of coffee, tea, milk and biscuits plus the provision of domestic consumables enhanced a friendly and accomodating atmosphere. Freshly cut flowers had been added prior to our arrival giving a loving, homely feel to the property. Delightful! |

Vanuit Nederland augustus 2011 dit huisje geboekt als uitvalbasis om de Midlands te verkennen. En dat is ons goed bevallen. Dit is een prima huisje. Het is schoon en van goed voorzien van alles. Gastvrij ontvangen, melk, thee, oploskoffie en koekjes. Lodge is op een goed verzorgde boerderij. Geen melkkoeien(meer), enkel akkerbouw en wat jongvee in de wei. We zijn met twee tieners (jongen, meisje) in dit huisje verbleven, en dan is het wat krap (op de 'kinderkamer'). De keuken is prima, zitbank en fauteuil zitten slecht. Bedden zijn redelijk tot goed. Maar in zijn geheel genomen een goed huisje, helemaal vrij, met een groot speelveld (tuin) voor je deur. |

Great location , excellant communication from initial enquiry to booking. The lodge is well set and maintained and some great extra touches - milk biscuits etc. Great facilities and information guide to help find everything you need in the local area. Our wee boy loved the farm location. Great stay thank you. |

A real Home from Home with little touches making all the difference, from saop and shower gel to biscuits, milk and tea on arrival. Beautifully clean, warm, and so peaceful. We'll definitely be back to such a lovely place. Thank you |

If you like your home comforts this is the place to stay. Friendly welcome with tea,coffee and biscuits to start you off!Very well laid out accomodation. Comfy beds with electric blankets(as said I like my home comforts!). Nice lounge area with three piece suite. TV and DVD player with books as an alternative if you fancy a read. Super kitchen with everything you could want. Shower room with toilet,again with all you need,including soap and shower gel. Situated in a quiet location with nicely kept garden. Shops and pubs nearby,all within walking distance if you are reasonably fit. I am 66 and it would be no problem at all,in fact a good way to take in that clean country air!One word to sum it all up. . . . . exceptional. Lovely quiet location, the lodge has all facilities making it a perfect base to travel around the local area or just stay in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The children had a lovely time exploring and playing in the garden too. |

a lovely peaceful setting on a farm. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was nice that all shower and shampoo was there plus all washing powders. There was a dishwasher but we didn't use it. | Cottage Review:
The Elms Farm Holiday Lodge is perfect for a short or long break. The surroundings are wonderful and the Lodge itself is very comfortable and homely - a home away from home! Although it is a self-catering property so much is already provided for you such as towels and cleaning products and thoughtful little touches such as handcream and shower creme, books and games in the living room and there is also a television with digi-box and a dvd player. And a lovely surprise on arrival - biscuits and also tea and coffee in the pots! The property is obviously well maintained too, it really is a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to 'get away from it all' but wants the comforts of home too. |

| Cottage Review:
My Wife and self have stayed at this venue on two separate visits,once in the summer,and once in the winter. On both visits,the lodge was exceptional in it`s comfort and facilities. Rarely,in my opinion,does one come upon a venue,such as this, that caters so well for the comfort and enjoyment, tranquillity; plus the friendliness of Greta and Richard. As an aside,the Farm is a treat to explore, tidy and well run,with well looked after animals ----- ask to see Bertie the Bull ---- he`s gorgeous!!!. |
