Description of the holiday cottage
Positioned in the scenic heart of County Galway, this 100-year old property is able to sleep up to five people and was once the gatehouse to an estate manor house. Located between Caltra and Ahascragh in County Galway, this traditional style cottage was formerly the gatehouse to the Clonbrock Estate and is over 100 years old. The property has been maintained to provide comfortable accommodation for up to five people and benefits from a wealth of original features. Accommodation includes three bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely living room with dining area. The cottage has been simply and comfortably furnished throughout and offers bright, airy living in a period setting. The local area is full of great outdoor pursuits and the property is well placed for easy access to various activities throughout the region.
