Cherry Tree Cottage , East Hepple , Rothbury , Morpeth , Northumberland , NE65 7LH

Description of the self catering property
Cherry Tree Cottage is a delightfully renovated Grade II listed 19th Century stone built converted farm steading in the pretty hamlet of East Hepple, on the banks of the River Coquet, one of the best salmon and trout rivers in England. Located on the edge of the Northumberland National Park and four star graded by Visit Britain in 2007, the cottage was converted in 2001 to an exceptional standard to become a luxurious and welcoming holiday home sleeping 6 people in three bedrooms.

Best Features
With use of natural materials throughout, it is a charming cottage and offers stunning views from the garden and entrance down the Coquet Valley. The cottage comes into it’s own during the summer, with patio dining and easy al fresco lunches in the garden, but the cosy stone inglenook and characterful features offer a warm and inviting stay in the cooler months.

Whether a family holiday or romantic break, come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of a beautiful Northumbrian Village - and use this great central location to discover the whole of Northumberland, - both coast and country.

Cherry Tree Cottage is an excellent base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer, from the stunning countryside of the Northumberland National Park to the Heritage Coastline (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

You will be spoiled for choice of Things To Do (walking, cycling, fishing, wildlife and birdwatching) and there are many attractions nearby including the fantastic Cragside House, Gardens and Estate, Alnwick Castle (popular with Harry Potter fans), The Alnwick Garden, Wallington Hall, Bamburgh Castle, The Farne Islands, Holy Island, Hadrians Wall. . . .
