Description of the holiday cottage
This beautifully converted stable block provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to six people whilst still retaining many of its period features. As part of a conversion of a former stable block this property is an attractive, mid terrace house situated on a quiet lane in the centre of Armathwaite. The cottage has been lovingly restored and decorated to a high standard throughout, in order to provide warm welcoming accommodation. The quality furnishings and minimal, elegant styling compliments the period features of the property, including original beams, exposed sandstone walls and a wood burning stove. The village of Armathwaite itself provides an array of interesting walks and the essential amenities of a shop and two village pubs. Other activities throughout the area are within easy driving distance too.
